Function Button

Initial Device Setup (see Initial Setup)

Button Interaction Action
Press and hold for 4 seconds Network Configuration using AD+Sign app
Press and release Cancel Network Configuration

Pairing the DS-2 with the AD+Sign app

Press and release Enter pairing mode

Firmware Update (see Firmware Update):

Press and hold for >5 seconds Start firmware update

Reset Button

Restore the DS-2 to Factory Settings (see Reset to Factory Settings):

Lights

LED Info
Status This LED indicates various DS-2 operational states
Power This LED indicates the power state of the DS-2
Power LED Status LED Meaning
Off Off DS-2 is off
Orange Off DS-2 is powered via PoE
Red Off DS-2 is powered via the DC power pack
- Flashing Red / Off DS-2 is booting
- Red DS-2 is not connected to a Network. Working mode 1
- Orange DS-2 is not connected to the AD+Sign Cloud. Working mode 2
- Green DS-2 is connected to the AD+Sign Cloud. Working mode 3
- Flashing Blue / Off DS-2 is in Setup mode
- Flashing Blue / Other DS-2 is in Pairing mode
- Flashing White / Other DS-2 has activity on Infrared, Serial or I/O port
- Flashing Magenta / Other DS-2 is undergoing a system Firmware Update
- Flashing Cyan / Other DS-2 is updating an application
- Flashing Yellow / Other DS-2 is in an error state
Flashing slowly Off DS-2 is resetting the Network settings to factory settings
Flashing quickly Off DS-2 is resetting to factory default values

Firmware updates will utilise a USB storage device plugged in here (see Firmware Update)

Debug Do not use. For factory maintenance
SD Card Do not use. To be featured in future updates
Antenna Connect the WiFi antenna here if using a wireless network
DC Power Connect the included DS-2 DC power pack here
Ethernet Port Connect your Ethernet cable here if using a wired network
HDMI In This port is used to connect a HDMI output from optional external equipment for use with the Picture-in-Picture feature
HDMI Out Connect your HDMI display or TV here
IR Out Connect the infrared emitter bud cable if using infrared device interfacing
RS-232 Connect your 3rd-party equipment here if using serial device interfacing
I/O Connect your 3rd-party equipment here if using digital input/output device interfacing
